I will be participating in a symposium at Keio University in Tokyo on December 13, 2024, from 11:00-17:35 Japan Standard Time. For those attending in person, the doors will open at 10:30 am. The program is co-hosted with the University of Washington. The symposium title is “Developments in the Legal Environment for Global Trade and Investment.” The program aims to examine these issues in light of “the results of the U.S. presidential election (November 5, 2024), and other recent geopolitical events.”
The symposium will be held in English without any translations. The venue is Keio University Mita Campus South Building, Distance Learning Room (B4 level)

The co-speakers in my session are ZHU Shaobin and KOMATAMI Takeshi. Our session on “Technology and Intellectual Property in Decoupling and Derisking” will be moderated by Prof. TAKENAKA Toshiko. It is the first session of the program at 11 AM. It will be accessible to residents in the United States at 9 PM on December 12, 2024, Eastern Standard Time, and it is free of charge.
