Explore Shifting IP Landscapes at Upcoming Conferences

I will participate in a University of Southern California webinar on “Key Global IPR Challenges Facing the New Administration” on March 25, 2025, at noon (9 AM Pacific Time). Program information is available here, as well as a registration link. I will be joined by Dr. Kirti Gupta, Hon. Klaus Grabinski of the Unified Patent Court, Prof. Adam Mossoff, and Tobias Wuttke, Esq.

I will also participate virtually in the 34th annual Medicine Law and Society Conference in Europe on March 27, 2025 from 11:00 – 2:00 Central European Time.  I should be speaking at around 5:30 AM Eastern Time. I will be discussing the role of pharmaceutical IP protection in US-China trade relations, including its role in the Phase 1 Trade Agreement, the implementation of the Phase 1 Agreement, China’s emergence as a licensor of new pharmaceuticals,  and what the future looks like.  Registration information is available here.

I will join Gary Reischel, chair of the Asia Society of Northern, in Seattle on April 21, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 1 P.M. (Pacific). We will discuss the first ninety days of China policies under the Trump Administration. Registration information is available here.

I will also speak virtually before the Licensing Executive Society, Silicon Valley Chapter, on May 21, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. (Eastern) on “Licensing Between the United States and China: Navigating the Shoals.”  Registration is available here.
