I will participate in a University of Southern California webinar on “Key Global IPR Challenges Facing the New Administration” on March 25, 2025, at noon (9 AM Pacific Time). I will also participate virtually in the 34^th annual Medicine Law and Society Conference in Europe on March 27, 2025 from 11:00 – 2:00 Central European Time.  I should be speaking at around 5:30 AM Eastern Time. I will be discussing the role of pharmaceutical IP protection in US-China trade relations, including its role in the Phase 1 Trade Agreement, the implementation of the Phase 1 Agreement, China’s emergence as a licensor of new pharmaceuticals,  and what the future looks like.  Registration information is available here.
