The sad news posted today (August 4, 2022) on various news and government / judicial websites is that the former President of the Beijing IP Court, Su Chi, is now under investigation. The one-sentence report states: “According to the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision: Su Chi, the former secretary of the party group and President of the Beijing Intellectual Property Court, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.”

I know nothing of the charges against him, This blog has reported on many of the past initiatives of Su Chi, as have many other academics and journalists.
