Berkeley-Tsinghua Transnational Litigation IP Program Begins May 19

The 5th  Berkeley-Tsinghua Annual Forum on Transnational IP litigation will be held in a hybrid format from May 19-20 from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.  Tsinghua University is our virtual host.  Registration is free and is available through this website.  CLE credit is available, and we also anticipate awarded ethics CLE credit.  If you are in China, please consider joining the program in person.

You can register for one day or both.  The agenda is here.  Day one will cover general/empirical trends in IP litigation and patent ownership, data mining, and SEP licensing.  Day two will cover pharma IP issues, the impact of overseas prosecution activities on cross-border litigation and sequencing of multinational litigation, and bad faith intellectual property registration.

I am scheduled to moderate the first session. I will also join the bad faith session to discuss the parallel bad faith trademark attorney disciplinary campaigns now ongoing in the US and China.  This last session will also offer CLE credit. Please come and join us!
